Welcome to American Heart Month! Are you familiar with the Children’s Cardiac Safety Act (CCSA)? Did you know that asking a few simple questions during a child's "well check" examination and pre-participation sports evaluations can save lives and avoid tragedy in your state? The HCMA invites you to attend a 45-minute virtual legislative briefing about this critical health legislation.

The HCMA will host 7 of these virtual briefings. The briefings feature updates from Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia & Louisiana. However, it is our mission is to pass this important legislation in every state. Even if your state isn't listed, you can register for one of these events to learn how you can help us pass the CCSA in your home state!
