Anna Rodonski

Annie is an experienced Cardiology Physician Assistant with a focus on Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Her career began as an x-ray technologist in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, scrubbing on right and left cardiac catheterizations, and recording the complicated hemodynamics of HCM patients.
Annie joined the Yale Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Team, where she discovered her passion for HCM. She was a co-investigator with the initial clinical trials with myosin inhibitors while working at Yale. She was an integral member of the teams building Recognized Centers of Excellence at Yale and in Nashville. Annie begins a new journey at Trinity Health of New England at St Francis Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and is eager to build another Recognized Center of Excellence.
Annie prides herself in educating patients, families, RN's, MAs, and Physician Assistant students about HCM. She taught a 2-hour Cardiomyopathy Lecture to Physician Assistant Programs, including Lipscomb University and Meharry Medical College. She also manages Physician Assistant students who choose cardiology as their elective rotation during their clinical year.
Annie was born in Queens, New York, and grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She is the youngest of 6 children and went to Quinnipiac College on a basketball scholarship. She currently lives in Guilford, Connecticut, with her partner and their 2 rescue dogs. She enjoys taking the dogs to the beach, playing and watching basketball, and supporting live music.
