Chris Williams

Client Navigator

Chris began her career as an Emergency Department nurse before transitioning to clinical research, inspired by her experience supporting her father during his participation in a clinical trial at Dana-Farber. She worked at Yale, advancing cardiovascular research and working closely with patients enrolled in clinical trials, including HCMR, early myosin inhibitor studies, and ATTR-CM trials. In 2019, she received the Outstanding Study Coordinator Award from the Heart Failure Society of America, in recognition of her excellence in patient engagement, enrollment, and data quality.

Chris manages clinical trials at Penumbra, a medical device company that develops innovative thrombectomy and embolization technologies to treat complex vascular conditions. She is dedicated to advancing novel therapies while enhancing the clinical trial experience for patients and their families.

Chris is originally from Massachusetts and currently lives in Connecticut. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her puppy, Whaler, kayaking, listening to Tom Petty, and getting lost in a good mystery novel. She looks forward to meeting patients, hearing their stories, and contributing to the mission of the HCMA.
