Northwell Health’s Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy program is located at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) in Manhasset, New York. NSUH is a flagship hospital within the Northwell Health system and a major teaching hospital and a Level I trauma center providing comprehensive care for a wide range of complex medical conditions. Northwell Health’s Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) is renowned for its expertise in cardiology and cardiac surgery, as well as in heart and lung transplant. The hospital is academically affiliated with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and plays a significant role in medical education and research. North Shore University Hospital offers comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients who are diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. We offer all the necessary services, such as echocardiography, genetics, MRI, advanced heart failure, and interventional cardiology. Referrals for surgery to an experienced center can be made as needed. We also have a substantial experience with the newest medical therapy (cardiac myosin inhibition) and have participated in or about to participate in a total of four clinical trials.
