On December 11, 2004, after dropping our two daugthers (5 & 3) off at a Christmas party with friends, my husband of seven years Jeffrey, died suddenly on the way to his company Christmas party. Within one hour of leaving the first party, my husband rolled down the window of our car and began to make a gurgling noise. I thought he was joking around at first, then when he grabbed my hand, I knew something was wrong. At this time we were about 30 seconds from his party. By the time I pulled up, he had stopped breathing. After what seemed hours, it had only been 45 minutes, he was pronounced dead at the local hospital. I thought he had had a brain aneurysm. On December 24, 2004, the autopsy report came back and it showed that he had died from hypertropic Cardomypathy. Our whole life has changed forever. I want everyone to be aware of this disease. You hear on the news, the report of sudden deaths at schools, but you almost never hear later what caused the death. Your website has really helped me understand what happened to my husband, Thank You
