Hi Im Karen
I am a 42 year old mother and had my heart transplant April 6th 1998. I have a 15 year old son who has HCM and had a ICD put in Last year. Since receiving my heart I have been able to do things I never was able to do.I feel great and am greatful for every day I have. Anyone who ever needs to talk feel free to contact me.

Karen welcome aboard it is so wonderful to hear from someone who has had their new heart for a while and is doing well. Mine is almost 15 months old now and I feel great. I am 58. It is truly a miracle. Keep in touch.
