Overdid it now exhausted. Cold medicines? other questions.

Hi everyone
Well I had a good weekend but I overdid it. I went to a hard rock concert on friday night didn't get home till 1 am right after concert. Then on Saturday I had to get up to be at my choral practice at 10 am met a friend for lunch went back to choral practice at 2 had the show at 4 then went out to dinner and then home. Well I think due to that My clock got out of wack. I already am an insomniac but the last few days I have been getting at the most 5 or 6 hours of sleep. Now on top of that I have a cold. There aren't many medicines out there that we can talk am I correct on saying that? Sorry if I am overdoing it here Guess I am just venting. I have to remember one day at a time. :D :shock:
Midge is it true if I get the call for transplant while I have this cold they can't do the transplant? Thanks for listening everyone. Sorry If I vented too much. God bless you all and thanks for being here.

It is so easy to over do but pace yourself. I too was in denial and did not want to have to say I can't. To a degree that is a good thing but remember you need to get your rest. As long as you are not running a fever and your labs are normal when that call comes they will probably go ahead. Believe me when you get the call and you get to the hospital you will have every blood test known to man before they start the surgery. They will make sure you have no infection ANYWHERE. Take a few deep breaths and rest for the next couple of days. :D

sleep, vitamin c, and zinc, lots of water. no juice.

hang in there.
