Anyone, have a sense of how long patients stay in the hospital for this kind of surgery and if it's considered to be a pretty major procedure?

There are lots of posts here and this is a very individual thing, but it seems 5-7 days seems to be normal. You can do a search for myectomy recovery and find a lot of info.
