Hi everyone,

I am pretty much a stranger to ya'll, but i love this site. I was diagnosed 6 yrs ago. I am 26.

I have been feeling really rotten the last 3 wks. every evening around 4 i could tell my BP would drop, i would get shakey, and tired. I had it checked one night- 80/50. That lasted for over a week but has let up, thankfully. The last two mornings i have woken up with chest pains- unusual for me when waking.

I take 240 mg dialtiazem daily. my question is whether or not this is normal? Do i just chalk it up as a bad month instead of just a bad day?

still beating,

Are you under more stress than normal? Are you staying hydrated? You should probably touch base with your doctor since this is new to you. Glad to have you hear.

Welcome to the site Dawn, I also take diltiazem 240mg and from time to time my BP will get like that and my doctor just ask how low it would get and would say well just keep an eye on it, he said you would get that way if you are dehydrated, but see i have heart failure so i have to watch how much i drink too, but i would talk to your doctor and ask him or her, but again welcome

Thanks for your replies. No, I haven't been under more stress. The hydration question was interesting. It was my mom's first question, too. YOu know how a mom always has a way of knowing things!

I moved to northern IN a yr ago and have not gotten a dr here, so i feel kinda up a tree. I have some things to check out, however. I just get tired of all this stuff.

thanks again, ya'll!

LOL, your mom probably knows more than you thought. :) For now remember to stay well hydrated and find yourself a doctor. I know how aggravating moving can be without the stressors of finding doctors too. Take care and we're here for you.
