Hi Midge and everyone else,
Well I went to my defibrillator doctor and my cardiologist yesterday. I was in Boston all day at the hospital and it was tiring yet necessary. The defibrillator doctor said that I had a fast arrythmia on Janurary 21st but my heart got itself out of it therefore my biventricular pacer didn't need to fire. My cardiologist said that I seem to be doing well and he's glad I am still at a status 2 wait at home for my heart.
I have been waiting since October 8th of last year. I have had a couple of right heart catherizations but they were last year in October right before I was put on the list. My question is this.........My doctor told me that when you are listed for transplant you must have right heart catherizations every few months. Did any of you find that too. I know it's an easy procedure. I just wondered if any of you are dealing with this also? Thanks for your input. My next right heart cath is on april 18th. Everyone have a great day!!! :D !

Kim, yes I too had to have R. heart cath's every 6 months prior to transplant. They keep track of your pressures. It is part of the protocol for transplant. I hope your waiting is over soon. I go back this next week for my one year check up. Take care and keep up the positive attitude.
