Last year for Valentines Day my daughter gave me a book titled Stories of the Heart. It is all stories on Reflections on the heart transplant journey. In all that has happened in my life in the last year I sort of forgot about it and came across it this week. Wonderful stories, on both pre and post transplant. This book was put together by Abbott Northwestern Transplant Recipients. My daughter ordered it from Amazon. If you have any questions let me know. I am enjoying reading through it and discovering how everyone else deals with all of this. Enjoy.

Hi Shirley,
I couldn’t find the book Midge was referring to, but there are a number of similar books on the market. Do a Google search on “Heart Transplant Stories” and you will find some you might be interested in.
If and when Midge checks in again, if she would give the exact title of her book, the compiler, the publisher and any other facts about it, it would be a great help. When I searched Amazon.com I found no reference to the book she mentioned. (I wonder if it is now out of circulation.)
