It's me again. This is a question about those portable defibrillators. My daughter goes to middle school and the response time for an ambulance to get there is over a half hours. I have contacted my health insurance company here in Nova Scotia about purchasing one of the simple to use machines, to have in her school, that she can take with her from school to school. The problem I am having is finding a company in Canada who sells them. Would anyone know of any companies in my area that sells them.
Thanks,
Karen

This may sound strange, but first question, can you pay for something outright then have your insurance reimburse you? If so, can you order items through www.amazon.com ? They have one for sale for $1495 US dollars. I was going to link you but the link is too long to fit here easily. Just do a search under amazon's web page.

Contact a medical supply provider and they will have access to vendors.
Best wishes,

I had my local pharmacy check with the medical supply companies that they deal with and they had no luck, that is why I thought maybe you guys might know of some suppliers in Canada.
Thanks,
Karen
