BODY:
A Katy High School drill team member who collapsed after practice died from
an abnormally enlarged heart, an autopsy showed. Sara Krauss, 16, fell to the
gymnasium floor on the afternoon of Sept. 9 and was taken to Memorial Hermann
Katy Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Dr. Stephen Pustilnik, chief
medical examiner of Galveston County, said Wednesday that Krauss died from
hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, an enlarged heart.
