Hello to all!

I wanted to write and tell you about a wonderful, amazing and truly memorable event that took place on Sunday June 27, 2004. The Lyndhurst Police Department (NJ) and the VonRapacki Family held a 5K Run /2K Walk in Memory of Keith VonRapacki, to benefit the HCMA. We had perfect weather, wonderful people and a special guardian angel watching over this event. There will be photos of the event on the photo album soon.

I want to thank all the volunteers, the 300 participants, the entire Lyndhurst police department (especially MIKE!) and of course Jo-ann and George VonRapacki, 2 of the most wonderful people I have had the honor of knowing! They hope to do the run again next year and we hope to see 600 people at next years event!

There is a second run, the Vicky Keller Remembrance Run, in the Cape Girardeau, Mo. area on Saturday, September 25, 2004 Mail entry form and check to: Ron Keller, 1500 County road 209, cape Girardeau, mo 63701. Questions call Ron Keller 573-334-1364 or amber Wilson 573-335-5189 or visit the website at www.eteamz.com/sites/vickykellerrun

Thank you to both the VonRapacki and Keller for there efforts to help others with HCM!

God Bless these wonderful families!

Sincerely,
Lisa

That is/was lovely tributes, and a very honorable thing to do. I wish more people were socially active like that.

We also had a run in our own house just the other day, in honor of some left over food that was in the refrigerator a bit too long. Admittedly it was a short run – just to another room, but all the participants were quite active in their observance. I didn’t think of it at the time, but had I collected a toll at the door, we could have raised quite a sum for charity. Well, maybe next time.
