Just a short note to let you all know that I checked at the Mayo Clinic on the 20th of April for two days of exhaustive testing and had my septal myectomy on the 23rd of the month of April. Dr Schaff performed my surgery and did a wonderful job! I was released on the morning of the 29th of April and flew home to Seattle the same day, that was one of the longest trips of my life I might add.
I have been getting stronger every day since and with the day before yesterday I took a walk of 1 mile and yes I took it easy. I have a resting gradient of ZERO now! WOW!!! I know it will take awhile to build myself back up but I can see a difference already! Thanks to all that supported me in my journey of learning, exploring, and listening to get to the point where I was comfortable with finally moving ahead. I have a huge thankyou to you Lisa for all your kind words and help, you will never know how much it meant to me at the time. I will write more later :)

Richard, thanks for the update. That flight is exhausting. We could never have made it the same day. Linda
