strong pulsating/thumping lower throat

does anyone feel sometimes a strong pulsating feeling that feels like it's near your lower front part of the neck ? (just below your Adam's apple). I got this yesterday and am getting it now. It comes and goes...I can feel it beating up into this area. Never felt this before. what should I do? I don't think I have to go to the E.R. I don't feel faint or anything, but it's weird.

Been there – done that – I don’t know what the heck it is either. I just know that it goes away pretty quickly – before I can decide if I should go to the ER. Sometimes it comes back again for a short while, but I’ve never done anything about it.

my pulse is always visible in my neck. freaks people out. nothing to be done.

unless you are having pain or extreme tachycardia or faint, you probably don't need to go to the er.
