Cynthia,
I just sent a LONG private message, but the short answer is, Yes, I have, although Dr. Gilligan thinks there may be other areas that are misfiring.

I know of several people who have had success with the procedure, and a few who have not had success.
Like always - we are all a little different and results can vary.

it is my understanding is that the key to a successful ablation is whether or not you always have the same arrhythmia.
a rhythmic arrythmia, as it were. : )
what i mean is that is the way your heart goes wrong is always the same each time, then they can zap the spot where it goes wrong. however, if your heart is just misfiring all over the place, then it is harder to find a spot to ablate that is going to make a difference. your heart is just going to think of other pathways to take.
a close reading of your past ecgs and echos should be telling plus hospital reports.
take care,
s
