Myectomy and Blood Pressure

Can I assume that after a myectomy your blood pressure would drop due
to the obstruction being taken away and the heart can contract easier?

yes and no and maybe... hows that for an answer?

B/P is not based upon your gradient. Yes the "pressure" gradient in your heart is lessened post procedure, but the b/p may not come down.
Again I say...we are all a bit different and many factors create a hi b/p.
