Ablation scheduled for 5/29

Dr. Sherrid called me today and said the date of Thursday 5/29/03 is definite. He has been much more positive about my case lately. I am highly obstructed, and he thinks I will be very much better after the procedure. I have a tethered spinal cord and a lot of nerve damage in my heart, so they are getting a famous specialist to come do the procedure, and hopefully I won't need a pacemaker. But I told him that I am resigned to it and won't be very disappointed if I have to have one.

I can hardly move around now at all and am spending most of my time reading. I can hardly wait for the surgery------

Liona, this is wonderful. Who is the famous specialist? I thought I had a doctor in my area all lined up that was recommended to me and he seems to have flown the coop! They said he was on an extended leave of absence and didn't know if he would be back or not etc. I am so disappointed! I hate to think of traveling across the country and coming back in a sickly way.
