I have been switched from coreg (on for 2 years) to corgard(nadolol). I was looking for some feedback from anyone who has used or is now on this drug. Is it working for you? side effects?? dosage?? I am now on amiodarone and on 60 mg of corgard. Thanks

I've taken corgard for over ten years I think. When I was taking it with dofetilide, I needed 80 mg. Now that I'm off the dofetilide (tikosyn), I only need 40 (20 2x a day).
I find that 80 without the dofetilide made me profoundly tired and addlebrained.
You may notice feeling a little fuzzy headed, a little tired, and you may have strange dreams.
Odd as this may sound, but if I pray/invoke for my dream state to be protected from "interfering thought forms at any and all levels" then I really have fewer bad/weird dreams.
On the plus side, your heart will beat slower and softer and should make you feel better.
take care,
S

I have been on Corgard for about 15 years, it has done well for me. No major side effects.
