Ranexa Side Effects?

About 8 weeks ago I started Ranexa. And the dose has been steadily increased every 2/4 weeks.

About 6 weeks ago I started having pain in my lower back (coccyx) which isn't improving, about 4 weeks ago I noticed a purpuric rash on my feet and ankles which seems to be spreading more. About 2 weeks ago I started having night sweats, stiff neck, shoulders, back. In the last 5 days I've lost 9lb's without trying.

My blood work was done yesterday and all the inflamation markers were normal (they were querying Endocarditis), and the cultures will be back in a few days.

They put it down to side effects of ranexa. Has anyone else had a similar experience of Ranexa?

Chris,

Have you had a general physical with lab work done to be sure that there is not something else that is causing these symptoms? I would make an appt with my GP and follow up to rule out anything else.
