Kaye's fundraiser

I will not step on Kaye's toes here and tell you how great her 1st HCMA fundraiser was but it was awesome. Very well organized, good response. I am sharing the only picture I have as my camera just died. I am sure she will jump in with the details. As her mom, I think she did great as did alot of other people. The picture is of my own little HCM family. Hopefully I can get this to download.

She's a little biased, but I do think the fundraiser went well. I am exhausted today and not looking forward to working full-time this week, I feel like I need a week to recover now. It was worth it though and so fun....too bad I can't make something like this my career. =)

We had a good turnout considering it was our first fundraising event. There was a huge food table, a decorate your own cookie station, a craft table, games, a spooky room, a piece of cake walk, batting cages and inflatables for the kids to partake in. My husband's boss surprised me and hired a balloon guy who made balloon shapes for all of the kids and that was a huge hit. My entire family and many friends volunteered their time to help us out and it was such a great day. I want to make next year's even better. I did hear from people how much fun their children had, so that was great.

I still have people sending donations to me that couldn't make it and I love that!

We are waiting on one more donation but as of right now we earned about $1100 for this fundraiser. I wish it was more, but can't complain!
