Diuretics

Hello. I was wondering if anyone else uses diuretics that doesn't have an issue w/ fluid retention. I recently saw Dr. Ommen at Mayo and he said maybe in the near future I could add a diuretic to my medicine regimen to possible reduce pressures in the heart. I've never heard of this.

At times I've taken them to manage hypertension. That's the same mechanism (but not the same goal - in hypertension the issue is arterial pressure) as Dr. Ommen had in mind for you.
