I know there is a study going on with this drug with Dr. Maron and some HCMA members. Has anyone heard anything about the status or is it too soon to get some info. When might we begin to see the results pos or neg of this effort.

I have heard "unofficially" that there is no/minimal real positive effects. I am not in the study, but I am on the drug. I do not see any difference since I have been on it. Hum, perhaps I should have the conversation about stopping it.

I had an ulterior motive for asking since my Dr. put me on this last week and the side affects were horrible...........so, I was just curious about how the study was doing.

I might try to restart it in a week or so at a much lower dosage. I was at 25 MG.

Sorry to hear of the unofficial results....we'll just have to wait for the official results which I am guessing will take many more months or years.

Funny how we each respond to medications differently. I have had no side effects at all.

I'm up to 150mg a day of this stuff, but it really doesn't bother me, I am not in the study either
