I will be traveling to Boston tomorrow for my first visit to the HCM center at Tufts; stress echo/MRI on Monday and Dr. Maron on Tuesday. I'll be the one who doesn't know where she's going!

Good luck at Tufts. You will find your way around pretty easily. It is a little confusing, but people are very helpful. The first day we were there we got lost and we met this very nice doctor in the hall, who turned out to be Dr. Maron!

There is an Au Bon Pain in the lobby. Make sure you bring your parking card in to get it validated in the hospital if you park in the garage.

Dr. Maron is great. Good luck with your visit.

Best wishes for your visit .. here is a link to a map in case you do not have it already.

Once you know where the atrium is it is easier to get your barings.

Hello,

You are at a great hospital...with very, very looong corridors.. I found it easy to find my way but with difficulty breathing a very, very looong walk. Good luck... I'll be thinking of you these two days.

I love, love, love Tufts! You will be so happy you went there. James has had such a good rapport with James and has done great there. I am glad you got to go there. Look forward to hearing from you!

thanks to everyone who posted here; my first visit to Tufts is also going to be my last as I got the best news possible; I don't have HCM! I know it usually is missed rather than misdiagnosed but I am so thankful I went and got the answer I was hoping for. Dr. Maron is great and so thorough, I'm sorry I won't be seeing more of him. I am extremely grateful for the HCMA and all the support found here; I will continue to get the word out. THANK YOU!
