Well I got my first stay in the new building. I went to the ER on Feb 16th and was admited to the 10th floor of the Shapiro. The rooms are the best and the care was great. One bed to a room with window views, flat screen TV, area for family to relax. It made the stay perfect. I gave the nurses station a scare when my heart rate went low and got paced. I got my med doses changed. I see that I have to slow down and see the signs of working coming to an end. I want to that the staff and medical students learning about HCM. My last day I had med students and gave them a lesson on HCM.

When my two older children came into the room they felt relaxed and not worried as they were in the old part. Anthony wanted to stay with me and Angelina took pictures of the view, room, bathroom, doctors, etc. Both of them had dinner with me.

I have to go on a follow up with Dr. Caroline Ho on March 5th. We have been talking about putting another lead in for the ICD because of the pacing so much. I had the nurse give me a copy of the EKG when my heart was being paced to go over it. I realize traveling on real estate appraisals and doing 2-3 a day has taken a toll on me.
