We are heading up to see Dr. Ommen in Rochester (my first visit with a specialist, though I was just diagnosed a few weeks ago) on September 17th.
My original appointment was scheduled for October 20th, but I have been such a stressed-out mess since this diagnosis, that I called and asked if I could get in any earlier if possible- for my peace of mind. They must have had a cancellation because they got me in over a month earlier than I had originally been scheduled. I go in a few weeks.
We are planning on being there for one night, two days- I do testing and then a consult with Dr. Ommen. We will stay another night should that be necessary.
Anyway, if anyone is up there at the same time, let me know- it would be nice to meet some fellow HCM'ers!
