I second that Gayle!! I have been under his care for almost 5 years.
I recieved my ICD and Myectomy at Duke. Dr. Andrew is a very kind and personal doctor.

Hello Everyone,

Happy Thursday!!! I will be travelling to MN to see Dr Maron on June 5th and will be leaving on June 7th. My wife and I will be staying at the Sheraton next to the hospital. If anyone is up there please let me know and maybe we can meet up. Thanks and take care.

Hi Fred,
It is great to meet someone else who goes to Dr. Wang. Who actually put in your ICD. Dr. Wang has mentioned that I should have one before, back when I first started going to him. I was very resistant back then. Now I am older, have a few more symptoms and two sweet little boys to raise so I am seeing things differently. When I do have one put in I would like to go to Duke ( even if my insurance would not want me to). Everytime I go up there I have to fight them to pay, but Dr. Wang is well woth the 4 hour trip and the insurance battle.

You may want to repost your message on a new thread titled your heart center's name. I titled this one Duke so people who go to your heart center may not look at mine.

Anyway it is cool to meet a fellow "Columbian", even if it is a different state. Hope all goes well with your traveling and your appointment!!
