Project in Health..

It's been a while since I wrote, just thought I'd like to tell you guys something that happened today!

Today my health class went to the library to do some research for our projects. A while back our teacher told us to pick a some type of health topic to do a 5 page report on. So I got to thinking... and I decided to do mine on heart disease.
Well I got started looking for any type of heart disease, and all I could think about was Cardiomyopathy. So I decided to do my paper on the main types of Cardiomyopathy, instead of just heart disease.
I started looking up things on it, and my teacher walks by and starts asking me questions, and he says, "Ya know, that's what my twin brother died from.. He was at a basketball game sitting on the bleachers and just dropped dead." I was soooo shocked!! I seriously sat there with my mouth open.
I mean I knew people died from this, but I never knew ANYONE who had a family member that died from it.

So now when it's time to present our 5 PAGE paper.....I know he will call on me!! Thank God it's not due til January.

Well I think it is great!!!!!! Hope you get an "A" and if you need some details answered what a great place to get them answered but here you will get first hand knowledge

Yes...
When I took 7th Grade Health we had to do a group project on a disease/health condition. At the time I didn't know I had HCMA so I chose my other "disease." My eyes are bad and I was at one point diagnosed with Optic Nerve Neuropathy. It was fun to research something so personal. You feel like you are researching yourself. Health class can be boring so you have to make it interesting.

Best of luck on your project. If your teacher's twin died of this, he might have it too - especially if they were identical twins. Please direct him to this website so he can learn more. You may just save a life by doing a profect on yourself.

Yeah I was going to ask him if he was check for it, but he said that you had to request that a certain type of something, so I think he did. He didn't say anything about him having it, I don't know if that's because he just doesn't want to get to personal or if its just because he doesn't like me!! haha.

But I decided to do my project on the 3 types of cardiomyopathy rather than just one, so I can to about a page 1/2 for each!! Since I'm so lazy, I haven't gotten very far... just a page!!
