Health Insurance

Just wondering what some of you have done to get health insurance? I'm going to be self employed and obviously it seems that every insurance doesn't want to touch me with a 10ft pole. Any suggestions? Have you heard of the Health Savings Accounts? etc. I'm trying to come up with ideas but I'm running out...thanks! ;-)

If you have health insurance through your current job, you will have to elect to pay for COBRA coverage for 18 mos. At the end of the 18 mos, the law requires the ins. co. to offer you a comparable individual policy.

If you don't have any lapse in coverage, then you will be able to obtain ins. It may be expensive, but it will be available. If you let it lapse, you will be out of luck.
