Cindy is a wonderful artist who has lost family members to HCM and has thought of us as she was creating her artwork named 'Unruly heart'. All proceeds will benefit the HCMA and we will also be using the artwork in upcoming pieces. The starting price on the bid is very low - I hope to see one of you own this lovely little piece of art!

Best wishes and thank you Cindy!

Thank you, Lisa, for your kind words and your efforts to bring this information to everyone.

Hi everyone. My name is Cindy and I am the artist of the piece titled, Unruly Heart.

The ebay auction listing is set up to give 100% of the proceeds from the sale to the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association. I've never been very active in a fundraising event before, so this is quite exciting. The reception the auction has received so far has exceeded my expectations and am thrilled that the funds will be going to such a good cause.

Lisa and the crew at HCMA probably don't remember me from my first encounter with HCMA, but I was very impressed with the caring, knowledge and time freely shared with me. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to give something back to the organization. In reality, though, it will be the winning bidder of the auction who really should receive credit for their gracious support.

I thank everyone who's bid on the auction and invite all of you who read this to consider placing a bid on this original oil painting. The funds raised from the sale of this painting might be the dollar needed to find a way to make hypertrophic cardiomyopathy a more easily manageable disease.

I wish you and your family a healthier and happy New Year.
Thank you.

That's cool! Wish I had money enough to bid! But, I'll do my part by sending the Disney tickets I promised. I hope they help.

Thank you Mary for responding to this thread.

I realize that not everyone can afford to donate funds. If the bidding price becomes an issue, you and other members can still show their support by visiting item # 290066220113 and clicking on WATCH THIS ITEM on the right hand side of the page. (Please pass this information along to your friends!)

Should the Watch numbers become high enough, the listing will show in Ebay's Pulse page. Quite a few folks, including some news organizations, look to see what is in the Pulse, and it would be a good vehicle to bring further awareness of HCM and the HCMA to the public.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Thank you for "watching" this item.
The listing for the Unruly Heart has reached Ebay's Pulse.
This means that this listing is one of the most watched listings on Ebay for this category.

It also means that a LOT of people have cared enough to put the listing on their "Watch This Item" list. By being on the Pulse, the Unruly Heart will likely attract attention from other folks who are curious about the hoopla. This is good for helping the public become aware of HCM and the HCMA.

Again, Thank You! And if you haven't yet put this listing on your Watched list, please do so!

Cindy,
That was a very nice thing you did, and after all these years on this earth I have learned that what comes around truly goes around. May you be blessed as you have blessed others.

Now if you’re up for it – how about making a picture of “Hearts on Fire”? I’ll leave all the creative details up to you. Thanks again for your fine work.
