Trip to NEMC Oct. 11-18

Hi all

I am making my yearly pilgrimage to NEMC. I should be arriving there around the eleventh. And lucky me I am to have my appointment on Friday the 13th! I will also be staying in the Boston/ New Hamshire (staying in Atkinson NH with friends) area until the next Tuesday the 18.

So, if there is anyone around in the area that would like to meet up would be awesome! The last time I was there I got to meet one of two other people who have the same weird manisfestation that I have! I gained so much insight and the feeling that I was not alone that it made the whole trip worth while!

HI Mary: I just got home last night from my annual visit to NEMC. I live on Long Island and my husband and I make a weekend out of it. Dr. Maron told me about new genetic studies that they have started at NEMC and asked if I would like to become a research volunteer. All it takes is giving some blood and your identity is very carefully guarded. You might be interested in getting some more information about this. I feel that anything to help them get a better medical handle on HCM is to all our benefit. The best of luck with your visit. Sincerely, Joyce F
