Hello to all!

It has been a rollar coaster of a summer. Many of you followed the thread about my fathers surgery and know that I spent several weeks in Cleveland albeit off and on since July 19. I have been doing my best to keep up with all your calls, emails, faxes and other needs - but I am only human and have a great deal of catching up to do. I am sorry if I have not been as responsive as normal - but family first is my motto and one I am sure you all understand.

The great news is dad is in a rehab center now and is back in NJ. We hope he will be there a few short weeks then back home. For anyone who has spent extended time in ICU you may know that the average rehab time is 1 week per day in ICU. Dad was in ICU for about 30 days. He has been in a hosptial room begining his rehab at CCF for 2 weeks, now to a rehab center for a few weeks, hopefully 3-4, then home and hopefully he will end his rehab time in Florida with his annual trip to the Keys.

In other big family news Becca begins Jr. High school next week and my nephew John begins a new job teaching 5th grade here in the town he grew up in. Big changes ahead for my crew!

I hope to have all your calls returned by the end of next week. Thank you all for your support over the past few weeks. Dad is on the mend and that is the most wonderful thing I could have hoped for.

Best wishes to all,
Lisa

Lisa, I am so glad to "hear" that your Dad is doing better! I am sure you are more than ready for things to slow down a bit :)

I'm sure most of us have been in your shoes and we surely understand. Know that we are here for you, too.

Lisa---

Your Dad was in ICU for 30 days!!! We are surprised you had any time for us at all!

Thank heavens that's done and over with and now life can resume some sense of normalcy---

We all hope that Becca's school year starts off marvelously next week--
