New England Medical Center - Tufts Visit

Hello,
I am heading up to NEMC-Tufts Clinic tomorrow 8/22. I have a 9am appointment for some testing & screening. This visit is for a 2nd opinion on if I need a myectomy or not. I met with a Cardiac Surgeon last week at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. He said there was no doubt that a myectomy was in order. So I guess I will see what they say up at this clinic.

Well, you lucky, lucky dog – you sure picked the right place to live. If it’s a go for the myectomy, don’t forget to compare how many each of the two centers perform. If it were me, I’d go with the place that has the most experience. The surgery would in all likelihood be quite mundane, but on the off chance that a problem arises it would be best to go with experience.
