It's so good to hear from you! I'm going to close your other thread since you've been able to catch us up on your own now. I hope everyone will stop in here and tell you welcome back! :)

Rob, welcome back. Yours is an amazing story and makes my transplant look like a walk in the park. What strength you have. I will continue to keep you and Haley in my prayers. Being as I am a big boating person or was, I hope you get back on that boat in 2006. If not this year remember there is next year without that new heart you would not have had that option. What a blessing and God bless our donors. They are the heros in our lives. When you get better I will tell you about the Transplant Games and what an awesome experience that was. You keep climbing that hill.

WELCOME VACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been keeping tabs on this thread since I could get to a computer. Although I have only posted once or twice you, your loved ones and doner and family has been in my prayers.
Like so many others have posted, you are an inspiration to others.Prior to my transplant they didn't know if I would need a kidney transplant, too. The doctors were hoping that my new heart would be strong enough to pump the blood to my kidneys, theefore, no kidney transplant would be needed. Thank God, that is what happened.
I must tell you, everytime I read where more obsticles were crossing your path I would feel guilty. I didn't want to post that I was feeling better, and I certainly wouldn't post about the little problems I was having after reading yours, but now, you are back.
I am sooooooooooooooooooo happy to read that you are feeling better. God bless you and Haley.

Please keep us posted as to you progress.

Thanks once again!

It's great to have internet access again and get online.

Midge: there's no way I'll be kept off that boat--hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later. Sailing season is year-round in these parts.

Cynthia: thanks for the visits. The trip to the caf for coffee was particularly well timed. Mayo is definitely the right place for you. Talk to you later.

Cheers,
Rob

Welcome back, Rob!!!! I have not seen your post yet as I am just catching up after being out of touch for most of the last month. But the one thing I have checked as often as possible was your updates. Glad not to go to that LONG list any more. Like many others we have been praying for your complete recovery and will continue to do so.

It's great to read your posts now. I'm glad the other thread is offically closed. It gives us all new meaning to will power, strength and perserverance. You and Haley are awesome and so very strong.
It was a very long hard road for both of you, we continue to pray daily. It's just wonderful to know that you are in your home with Haley and the kids.
