Mayo from 8/8 - 8/19

I am going to be at Mayo from 8/8 until 8/19 assuming all goes according to plan. I am having testing done on 8/9, consults w/ Drs. Ommen and Dearani on 8/10, and myectomy on 8/11. We are scheduled to return to L.A. on August 19. If anyone is going to be at Mayo during this time, please p.m. me in the next couple of weeks so we can arrange a meeting.

I wish you all the best with your Myectomy. I had the same procedure at Cleveland Clinic on Apri 26th. I am still recovering from fluid in the right lung, which is called Dressler's Syndrome. No one told me about it, and I wish I had known this can be an aftemath of open heart surgery. It was only diagnosed by a pulmonary specialist recently. May your recovery be easier.
