We had to increase the verapamil to 360mg today. Tommy's body is having several small episodes of a- flutter. The maze procedure and the verapamil are holding off the conversion for now. We just aren't sure for how long this will work. We are really trying not to have to go back to amiodarone.
With the lung issues and the possible liver problems, the docs prefer to hold off on amiodarone as long as possible. (For lung up date ....see other post "looking for answers")
