Is This A Part of HCM??

Ok I am just wondering if being sick alot is a part of having cardiomyopathy. I have been sick alot. I have got something right now, but I have a bad cough and it makes my chest hurt really bad. So someone let me know being sick alot is a part of HCM

Sometimes different medications can cause asthma-like symptoms. Beta-blockers can do that. I have had several bouts of chest colds and brochial spasms while on my current med for HCM. You best bet is to check with your Dr. All the best.

I've noticed that since my diagnosis of HCM and the medications that went with that diagnosis that my immune system has went AWOL. Right now I am battling a nasty bug and so I went to the ER. And amazingly enough as soon as I got there my 103 temp vanished and they could find nothing wrong. So, I am still miserable constantly coughing, sneezing about 20 times in a row, and my chest still hurts. They told me to call my primary. Could have done that without the thousand dollar trip!
