Today I celebrate my 8th year post transplant. As most of you know I have not had the honor of knowing my donor family. Please help me celebrate by saying a prayer for my donor family and all the donor families that have given such an amazing gift of love. God Bless All of them.

Karen,
Boy time flies!! Congratulations on your special day. Your donors family remain in my thoughts as I know all too well the pain of their side - and their joy in knowing that their loved one has brought life to others in the face of death.
Best wishes for many many more years of good health!
Lots of love,
Lisa

Karen,
Congratulations! Glad you are doing well! Thank you soo much for remembering the donor and other donor families. We very seldom hear how much people appreciate the difficult decisions we make to help others. I'll say an extra special prayer for your donor and the donor family.
God Bless All!

When I first knew that I needed a heart transplant, I realized that one person must lose his/her life in order to get another chance at life. I had a hard time accepting this concept.
After talking to many drs., nurses and recipients of organ transplants I realized that the doners wanted to help others and what a better way than giving someone the opportunity to live on and be able to do more after the transplant than before.
Therefore, your doner and doner family are in my prayers on YOUR special day.

Karen,
Congratulations on your 8th year anniversary. Transplant is such a gift. I will say a prayer for your donor and for the donor family and for you. April 1st my dad celebrated his 11 year anniversary and one of my dad's cousins is about to celebrate her 20 year anniversary soon. God bless all the donors and all the donors families. I am starting to write my thank you letter it's a great letter to write it's hard too I have a lot to say so I feel it is going to be long. Take care.
