Lasix and Aldactone

Hi all

I'm wondering how bad is it to take like 200 mg of Aldactone and 80mg of Lasix a day that seems to be high to me and i'm worried about my Kidney's any input would be helpful here

My less than perfect understanding is that they each work differently, and prior to transplant Beverly was also taking both meds.

If I remember right, Aldactone works more to take the pressure off of the heart while lasix flushes the excess fluid from the system. I know thats a pretty elementary response but thats the "laymans" answer we got several years ago.
