Hello and Happy New Year to ALL!

It is hard to believe that it is already 2006! As some of you may recall January 9th was my sister Lori's birthday (she would have been 47 this year). Each year in honor of her birthday I try to give us all a present by means of upgrading the website or message board. This year we will be getting a BIG upgrade on the message board on or about January 9th. The new format is VERY COOL! There will be some new features and it may take you a few minutes of adjustment but I am sure you will really like it.

2006 marks a milestone for the HCMA - we are 10 years old this year! I can hardly believe both of my babies are 10! It is going to be an exciting year with lots of new programs in the works and great new friends.

I would like to also announce that effective January 1, 2006 Bill Flanagan will take the role of President of the Board of Directors of the HCMA for a term of 1 year. I look forward to working closely with Bill this year to help us develop new programs and build the HCMA into a stronger organization that is here to meet your needs.

We are currently seeking several new board members to build the HCMA and take on specific projects. If you are interested please email me directly or call the office for more information. We ask that if you are willing to donate the time to the board that you allocate 2 hours per week and are not over committed with other obligations or commitments to other organizations.

Thanks to all of you for making the HCMA all that it is!

Best wishes,
Lisa Salberg

Happy Birthday Lori!

And God bless Lisa ... and anyone who has been touched in some way by this "club that no one wants to join".

Meanwhile, our gift to you (in honor of Lori's birthday) is a new message board site which is coming along nicely! We should be rolling that new board out in a few short days so stay tuned!
