Have you ever pulled out a NJ map to see just where the HCMA is only to find "Hibernia" not on the map? Well the map is not wrong as "Hibernia" is actually not a town - it is a section of a town - Rockaway Twp. located in Morris County NJ. I stumbled upon a website that mentions Hibernia and has some rather unique pictures of this small section of town. This is the link http://www.lostdestinations.com/splitroc.htm
The information in the site is not actually truthful - there is a great deal of urban legend surrounding "split rock" and Hibernia as it is an old mining town but there are some great pictures of my area. Keep in mind this beautiful country side is 30 miles from NYC!
