First grader dies after collapsing at school

DENVER - A first grader at Sabin Elementary School collapsed while playing at recess and later died Wednesday afternoon.
Denver Public School officials do not know why the boy collapsed. He was transported to a local hospital.
No information on the child's identity has been released.
Counselors have been brought in to the school to help students, parents and teachers cope with the traumatic experience.
Police were also been called to the school, but only as a matter of protocol.
