afib suppressed

well, a funny thing just happend. I was just sitting down watching t.v. eating a cup of chocolate ice cream when I felt an afib episode coming on. I went into the kitchen and drank a glass of water and seconds later, it stopped! I had just taken my second dose of tikosyn (anti-arrythmic med) about 40 min. ago....did it do its job and suppressed the afib?

Tikosyn is quite strong. I'm sure it was kicking in.

FYI: I find ice cream to be very palpitation inducing: sugar and cold. You might try yogurt instead.

thanks, Sarah. I haven't had any in a long time as I've been dieting but bought some Edy's 'French Silk' (the BEST!! and it's half the fat)...I'll stay away and eat an apple instead!
