High School Athlete Dies

An autopsy is planned Thursday (September 29, 2005) to figure out what caused a 15-year-old boy to collapse Wednesday (September 28, 2005) at football practice, and die a short time later.
Police say it does not appear to be a football injury, and that the boy had told his teammates before he went down that he wasn't feeling well.
Coaches and staff at Xavier High School in Appleton performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation all the way to the hospital where he died.
His name has not been released, but we're told he's from Greenville.
