Medication and Dentist??

i just went to the dentist and found out i have a bunch of cavities, and he said my mouth is too dry and leaving them unprotected. Im on 200 mg of Atelenol and 400 mg of norpace and am curious to know if any of you guys can let me know if these are normal effects and suggestions to do?

Norpace causes dry mouth. I haven't had too many problems with it, but I am very careful to drink lots and lots of water whenever I feel my mouth drying out. You can try that. I have been on it for about 7 months, and haven't gotten any more cavities. Ask your dentist how to better protect yourself.

There are sugar free candies you can suck on to keep your mouth moist.

Also make sure you are pre-medicated with antibiotics when you get dental work to prevent an infection.

Norpace is known for the dry mouth problem.
