Living in south Mississippi with HCM is hard enough but when you add the rath of Katrina it is ten times worse. It was fairly easy for me to accomplish but for my sister Kadie... it was damn near impossible. We came close to loosing her to the heat. We were fortunatle enough to get electricity only 5 days after Katrina. We, were some of the lucky ones!!!

I am glad to hear from you and happy to hear that your sister is doing well at this time. I was looking forward to meeting you this week - but looks like the plans have changes and we hope to be in Mississippi in January instead.

Best to all,
Lisa

Thank you for checking in. I'm glad to hear that Kadie was able to pull through even with the oppressive heat. I'm not sure how close you were to the largest part of the disaster but I hope you and your family sustained only minor damage due to this horrible storm.

I am so glad you are both safe. I can only imagine the devastation you have been through. Both of you stay well.

Liz.

We have been praying for all you folks who were affected by Katrina. I am so happy things are "starting" to get a bit better. I cannot imagine how difficult iut must be to see that much destruction. Our family is giving money to disaster relief.

Peace,

Leon
