Well it became official yesterday. After 72 days I get to go home and I don't have to come back for 30 days. I really don't know what I'm going to do first. I have never really lived in this house.
So I say thanks to everybody for the support and to everybody going through the process keep your heads held high and always remember to keep a good sense of humor and laugh at everything.
Oh I forgot my angiogram came back normal and I had a grade 0 biopsy.
Take care I'm going home to start a new job of being Mr. Mom, wish me luck.

This is really great news, Scott! You have the newest experiences; so, remember to keep a journal for all to draw from. You will be a great help to those that are awaiting a transplant. Best of the rest of your life!

Hi Scott
What great news! 72 days is a very long time to be away from home.
I dislike being away from home for 1 week. I'm sure you're excited. I know I would be.
ENJOY whatever you decide to do first. Just think, you are now able to do more than what you could prior to your transplant.
Good luck to you and your family in the "new life" you'll be living.

What could be more appropriate than a new house in which to start your new life? Enjoy your new life with your family and also be sure to take care of yourself.

Okay we got home Friday afternoon, the boys had gone to my sisters to go camping and see the air show in Bellevue, NE. What a change this is going to be. We picked the boys up this morning and it was great to see them, I really missed them a lot more than I thought.
It is going to take me a long time to adjust to the life around here and figure out how to schedule things. But with a new strong heart and alot of will power, oh and a wonderful understanding wife I think I can get a hang of this mister mom job. I will que you'all in on how things are going.
Well I have a big day tomorrow with the start of school and my rehab.
