Hello everyone,

You may have noticed I have been a bit quiet the past week or so, let me explain why...

I am writing to tell you all that I have made the cut and am officially starting my new life! After 17 years as the Human Resource Manager of a wonderful company I have left my position to dedicate more time to things with more meaning in my life, my family and the HCMA. I will return to my position on Monday to tie up some small items then I am completely done with that chapter of my life. It is a bitter sweet moment for me as I will miss my friends, co-workers and many relationships I have developed over the years. However it is time to move on.

I am looking very forward to having more time to work with all of you and your families in our quest to better understand HCM and raise awareness.

This is an exciting new chapter in the life of the HCMA.

Best wishes,
Lisa

Lisa,

I am so excited! I feel like we won the lottery. I know you will hear similar from many ! We are the very lucky ones!

I know you will have very little time to mourn your loss of this fullfilling part of your life that you are closing the chapter on, so we will keep you very busy as you pursue this wonderfull cause you have now dedicated part of your life to. Thank you in advance for all the wonderfull hope you will bring us all through your hard work and dedication.

Hi Lisa
You have been so busy with your job & life, but you made time to help others. You are amazing!

I'm sure your co-workers will miss you, too. Who wouldn't ??

I shouldn't say this, BUT, it is their loss, our gain.

Thank you so much for helping so many people.

Sincerely

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!

You are going to help countless more people with this heart disease and save many more lives.

Lisa, you say it best: Knowledge is power ... Stay informed!

And that is what you are giving so many people... knowledge, information and power.

You help many more people than you know.
Thank you.

LISA----

Completely finished!!! I thought you were going to attempt some kind of consulting arrangement with them? If you are completely finished, it surely must be a strange feeling, kicking off those traces and moving on---

We need you and appreciate you and thank you for being our CEO and Chairwoman!!

Consulting was my origninal plan then I took a long hard look at why I was going to do it. Honestly one reason was money but the other was fear of something new and the comfort of what I had. Sometimes in life you have to take a risk and realize that while money is important it is not everything. I do have one HR project as a consultant for a mid size start up company, but that will not take much time at all.

Thanks for all of your good wishes,

Lisa
